Workshop Wednesday on a MX5 Arizona

This week - back to rusty rear wings and sills!

We had this customer’s low-mileage Arizona model in for repair, with the usual rust issues in the rear arches and sills. Not as bad as most, but it needed sorting now before the rust really takes a hold. A simple enough job for us normally, except the special edition Arizona’s Blaze Yellow paint is a tricky one to match - it’s a three stage pearlescent paint that cannot be blended easily, so we decided to play its safe and paint the whole of both sides of the car to ensure an exact colour match.
