MX5 City sponsored driver has yet another podium finish!

19th September 2017

This weekend MX5 City sponsored drivers hit the Croft Circuit after a very tumultuous season for both of our teams of sponsored Drivers, this was no different as the weather was a small hitch for our seasoned drivers. Jonathan Greensmith races in the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Supercup which is for the Mk3(2005-2015) models. This season there have been tears and triumphs but overall a very impressive season for Jonathan Greensmith so far. Greensmith has consistently been in the top ten and has numerous podium finishes despite some very big hurdles such as engine problems and crashes.

This weekend just gone (16th-17th of September 2017) was a wet one indeed and was a bit of a struggle for most drivers taking part. Jonathan came home with a podium finish but not without difficulty .

Greensmith is currently 4th in the standings for this season

The Go4itracing team in the Mazda MX-5 Championship which is for the MK1 (1989-1998) models. There highest standing driver Martin Tolley is hurtling through the rounds and is currently 1st in the standings for the masters race.

This weekend was also a triumph as he came second and third in his competing races even though he had to prop his hood with his multi use umbrella.

Overall a triumph at Croft for our sponsors well done.
