The 2018 season has Started so lets GO4IT!

23rd April 2018

MX5 City sponsor Go4itracing in the championship, this year comprising of 3 drivers: Martin Tolley, Jack Warry and Stephen Foden.

First stop Brands Hatch

With last year being the most successful year so far for the BRSCC Mazda and this year yet again surpassing expectations we are guaranteed to be even more explosive. This year they continue with Martin Tolley heading the Go4itracing pack also known for being the fastest driver in the masters races, Stephen Foden returning with his new car and introducing Jack Warry the ranks.

The season opener was a very robust one with Martin Tolley coming in 5th in his races and 1st in the Masters races. These meetings also gave us the first appearance of Jack Warry and returning along side them Stephen Foden in his new car! Martin Tolley gave us a trio of 5th places which was consistent for him the last half of 2017 season is a great starting point to get what I'm sure he desires is a top 3 this year!

Second stop Snetterton!

This time Tolley slipped slightly in his races coming in 6th then 12th and 10th on last race but brought it back to his normal victories with a triple 1st place in the masters races. The masters races seem to be where Tolley thrives and this most definitely will translate to the other races this season.

Meanwhile Jack Warry is doing impressively well in his 1st season never mind his first two races consistently landing around 15th place and is someone to watch out for. The next race is Cadwell Park on the 2nd&3rd of June 2018, the season has only just begun so lets see what we have in store.

Check out our next blog where we have an interview with Martin Tolley and you can read in his words what these first two encounters were like.
